PIA was banned by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency due to the former aviation minister’s alleged negligence. The fallout from this statement was particularly painful for the middle class, who ended up paying higher fares and spending more time traveling. More importantly, this statement hurt the country by further bleeding our weak economy. I will attach great importance to the restoration of PIA’s roots.
If at all possible, the government should drag down PIA by reducing overhead costs, reducing the number of employees per aircraft, and doing everything possible to divert national flag carriers. Lose dead weight. If the government succeeds in doing this, as they have done by lifting the EU ban on PIA flights, it will be a big help for Pakistan.
