4-year-old boy dies after being hit by bus in Tipton

A four-year-old child died after being hit by a bus.

West Midlands Police were called to the High Street in Tipton, near Dudley in the West Midlands, just before 16:55 GMT on Friday.

The boy was found seriously injured and nothing could be done to save him, the force said.

He further said that the bus driver is present at the spot and is assisting the police in the investigation.

The force has appealed for anyone with dash cam footage or other information to contact them.
