Lakki Marwat: An awareness walk was organized in Lakki Marwat and Bannu districts on Tuesday in connection with the Anti-Corruption Week.

In Lucky Marwat, a walk was led by Deputy Commissioner Zeeshan Abdullah at the District Headquarters Complex Tajzai in which Additional Deputy Commissioners Sikandar Khan, Najeebullah Khan and Habibullah Wazir, government officials and civil society workers participated. The participants carried banners with anti-corruption messages.

The Education Department in collaboration with the Boy Scouts Association also conducted an awareness walk in Lucky city to raise awareness against corruption. Assistant Commissioner Yasir Nazir led the walk which started from Govt Shaheed Muhammad Ghassan Khan Sentinel Model High School No 1 Lucky and ended at the main bus stop at Kargil Chowk.

Teachers, students, Boy Scouts, school principals and ESED officials participated. Zeeshan and Assistant Commissioner said on the occasion that the eradication of corruption is indispensable for economic stability and prosperity in the country.
