Saif says the center is forcing people to record videos.

PESHAWAR: Adviser to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif on Tuesday accused the federal government of forcing detained and injured persons to make videos to cover up its failures.

Reacting to the claims of Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarr, Barrister Saif said that he (Tarr) is resorting to exaggeration for his publicity.

He further said that if Atta Tarar was subjected to torture like the workers, he could also accept the responsibility for the attack on Ahmad Shah Masood in Afghanistan.

The adviser said that asking for footage of the protest was a clear proof of Atta Tarr’s incompetence and lack of awareness.

“Ata Tarar should look at the videos available on social media, which clearly show firing on workers,” he added.

Saif claimed that there are videos showing dead bodies of protesters and this cruelty cannot be hidden.

He demanded that the injured personnel be shifted to hospitals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and urged the federal government to refrain from putting more pressure on them.

Criticizing the federal government, Barrister Saif alleged that it is trying to deceive the nation through fake videos. He advised Atta Tarr not to present the fake footage to the media and accept the truth.

Barrister Saif pointed out that the international media footage provides irrefutable evidence of the brutality and oppression of the federal government which cannot be hidden from the world.

He questioned why the injured workers were in hospitals if there was no harm.

“Shooting on the protesters and then torturing them in custody is a grave injustice,” he said and reiterated that the KP government would continue to raise its voice on every platform to protect the rights of the people. .
