PESHAWAR: Speakers at the closing ceremony of the three-day “National Design, Build and Fly Competition” on Monday urged young engineers to play their part in the technological development of the country.
A press release said that the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics held the competition at the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology under the Higher Education Commission’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Career Program (STEM). ) was sponsored by HEC).
The event stands as the biggest competition in Pakistan where aviation enthusiasts showcase their skills and innovations in the field of aerospace. A total of 25 teams from universities and institutes across Pakistan participated in the competition to demonstrate expertise and technical expertise in aviation technology.
Experts from Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Board Kamra were invited to review and evaluate the competition, bringing a wealth of experience to the event. National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP) Chief Executive Officer Dr. Liaqatullah Iqbal was the Chief Guest of the event.
In his speech, he appreciated the efforts of the youth of Pakistan and encouraged them to showcase their technological innovations with organizations like NASTP, National Aerospace City at Kamra and other national and international platforms.
The Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Masroor Ikram, former Academic Director and in-charge STEM Program Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS) attended the event.
