Her mother revealed that after Priyanka won Miss World, she received many film offers which she was not inclined to take.
The actress was adamant about going back to her studies and focusing on her studies instead.
“She had science subjects, she wanted to be a criminal psychologist slash aeronautical engineer,” he said of his daughter.
Expressing that his daughter had other plans for herself before starting her career in acting, Madhu added, “She wanted to go back to studies. So, the first film she signed was Signed on, he had large teardrops on the contract.
It wasn’t until Madhav understood something from his daughter, advising her to seize the opportunity as studies would go nowhere.
“When she did it, she loved it,” he said. “But she went back to college, and then more offers came, and then it’s history.”
