LAHORE: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) sealed 107 illegal commercial buildings and commercialization fee defaulting sites during operations in different areas of Lahore on Friday.
The LDA teams also demolished several structures in different areas of the provincial capital for violating building bye-laws. The LDA Town Planning Wing sealed 35 buildings in Gulberg and New Garden Town, 27 in Sabzazar Housing Scheme, 30 in Shadman and Gulshan Ravi and 15 on Canal Bank Road for illegal commercial use and non-payment of commercialization fees. . Meanwhile, LDA teams demolished an illegal building on Raiwand Road. Several illegal shops on Canal Bank Road were also demolished.
