ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Navy ship PNS Zulfiqar and Republic of Korea Navy ship Wang Jeon conducted Passage Exercise (PASSEX) in North Arabian Sea. The two ships, operating under Combined Maritime Forces (CMF), CTF-150, and CTF-151 engaged in tactical and communications exercises to enhance interoperability and develop professional relationships.
CTF-150 and CTF-151 focus on interdicting illegal maritime activities such as drug trafficking and piracy, which pose a security threat in international waters.
A spokesperson of the Pakistan Navy said that the successful conduct of this joint exercise will help both navies and their respective task forces maintain maritime security, support lawful activities at sea and promote stability and cooperation in this strategically important region.
