TOKYO: Japanese police said on Wednesday they arrested a man who allegedly confessed to breaking into more than 1,000 homes to relieve stress.
Police detained the 37-year-old on Monday at a property in Dazaifu, southern Japan, on suspicion of eviction, a police spokesman told AFP. “Breaking into other people’s homes is my hobby, and I have done it more than 1,000 times,” the Mainichi Shimbun newspaper quoted the unidentified man as saying.
