Lily issued a statement Condemning the “cowardly and intolerable attack” on social media, which he said took place on Tuesday.
“During the ambush, which is believed to have involved around eighty assailants, two of our supporters sustained injuries other than stab wounds, and were given medical attention.” Lily said.
Lilli said Italian police had stepped up security for their fans ahead of the game.
