Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seem to have missed the mark on their upcoming fourth project in their $100 million Netflix deal.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who executive produced a documentary on the elite sport of polo, received unfavorable reviews for the show even before it premiered.

Early reactions to the trailer suggest that the original show will not be “promising” and will likely end up with poor ratings.

“It’s hilarious, but not in a good way. It’s so hard and ugly, it’s literally the worst things about polo. I watched it in horror,” said a former friend of Prince Harry’s. The Daily Beast.

Although the negative reviews from former friends may have stemmed from their now-sour relationship, one former friend insists that the documentary could have been better, but it was just a missed opportunity.

Another Paul told the outlet, “The irony is that polo is actually an incredibly inclusive sport these days.

“You see a lot of rich kids but there are also a lot of kids from less privileged backgrounds who are just fantastic riders who are sponsored by teams. It doesn’t seem like the show is going to the forefront. That is a real missed opportunity.

A senior Hollywood executive agreed as he noted that the show “seems to have failed to capture the imagination.”
