After two days of sharp decline, gold prices in Pakistan on Wednesday saw an upward trend, mirroring global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24 carat gold settled at Rs 275,900 per tola, up by Rs 1,600, according to data shared by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold increased by Rs 1,372 to Rs 236,540.
In the international market too, gold prices on Wednesday saw a modest increase of $16 to $2647 per annum with an additional premium of $20. Ounce reached.
The price of silver in the local market also dropped significantly by Rs 50 to Rs 3400 per tola.
