Oh Tik Tik Impressive The man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly stealing nearly $500 from a Florida Target last month, police said.

Employees told officers that a woman entered the store on Oct. 30, 2024, and stole several merchandise.
At the self-checkout register, the woman did not scan the barcodes on the items but instead scanned the wrong barcode with the cheaper prices, police said in a press release.

16 items of miscellaneous household goods and clothing, valued at more than $500, were stolen.
The Cape Coral Police Department posted a photo of the suspect on its Facebook and Instagram pages to aid in identification.
An anonymous caller saw the post and identified the suspect as 22-year-old Marlena Wells, a TikTok influencer with nearly 300,000 followers.

Officers found Wells’ account, which included video of him wearing the same clothing and glasses as the suspect seen on Target’s video cameras. The video shows her removing the items from inside the Target and placing them in her car after leaving the store on the day the theft was reported.

Cape Coral police concluded that Wells was the target of the suspect accused of stealing the items on Oct. 30. Officers located Wells and took him to the Lee County Jail on one count of petit larceny.
