Meghan Markle may be embarrassed by some of the material released in an upcoming documentary, according to a filmmaker.
It has been five years since Meghan and Harry stepped down as senior members of the royal family and moved to America with their two children, Lily-bet and Archie.
For those unaware, Prince Harry’s The Lost Prince is set for release on December 3rd, promising an insight into his personal life in Montecito.
Award-winning filmmaker Ulrike Grunewald, who is behind the project, traveled to California with a team to gain insight into the neighborhood where Harry and Meghan live with their children.”
In an interview with Express, Ulrike suggested that it might make the couple a bit uncomfortable to watch. And she told the publication that working on the documentary helped her understand why the royals were so concerned when Meghan and Harry stepped down from their royal roles.
“Harry – The Lost Prince will reflect on one of the most heartbreaking periods in the royal family since Edward VIII’s abdication in 1936,” said Ulrike. “The most damaging accusations can only come from within. The revelations that shock the royal family can only come from the mouths of Prince Harry or Meghan Markle. I understand the late Queen’s decision that you are ‘half-inside and out.’ Can’t be ‘half out’.
He said the documentary would also investigate Meghan’s burgeoning reputation – something that may not sit well with the duchess.
“That [Meghan] Perhaps she is embarrassed about the criticism she is now receiving even in communities that once supported her decision to leave the royal family as a working member.”
Grunewald noted that while many associated with Prince Harry’s Invictus Games have questioned Meghan’s character and behavior, others are optimistic about the couple’s potential.
“At the moment it is hard to see any great success for their Archwell Foundation, which claims to work for the betterment of communities. But there are still voices that support not only the British monarchy but the couple’s high potential. See, liberal society.”
