ISLAMABAD: Majority of Pakistanis insist on taking measures against smog but have some conditions.
This was revealed in a survey by Ipsos Pakistan in which 1000 people participated from across the country. The survey was conducted last month between November 18 and 22.
In the survey, 75 percent of people insisted on acting on their own rather than the government, saying that “we have to play our part before the government or other institutions take any action.”
Should the government take initiatives to deal with smog? In response to this question, 73 per cent appeared to be waiting for action and asked the government to go ahead and take action. According to the survey, 77 percent of Pakistanis were seen as dependent on others. He said that when everyone plays their role, they will also support them.
