In a major success in the war against terrorism, security forces have killed 27 terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan’s Kutch district, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday. .
In a statement, the army’s media wing said that on January 12, security forces conducted an IBO operation in the remote district on information about the presence of terrorists.
During the operation, the troops “stealthly surrounded and effectively engaged the terrorists’ position, and after a fierce exchange of fire, twenty-seven terrorists were sent to hell”.
The ISPR added that during the operation, several caches including caches of arms, ammunition and explosives were also destroyed.
According to ISPR, the slain terrorists were involved in several acts of terror against security forces as well as innocent civilians and were highly wanted by law enforcement agencies.
