Lahore: Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has promoted 26 inspectors to the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).
Among the promoted officers are Inspector Rehan Zia, Syed Aftab Ahmed, Syed Khawar Hussain, Abdul Majeed, Naseer Ahmed Khan, Asad Mehmood Qureshi, M Ashraf, Alam Din, Syed Ali Jafar Raza, Mubasher Ali Anwar, Abdul Qadir, Ali Ahmed, M Naveed. are Javed, M. Akmal Umar, Tariq Mehmood, M. Hussain Haider, Shahzeb Khan, Khurram Shahzad, Javed Akhtar, Wasim Aslam, Ejaz Ahmed, Babar Shaukat, Aamir Iqbal, Khalid Mahmood, Abdul Ghaffar Khan, and M. Ziarat.
According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, this is the first time in the department’s history that the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) process has been conducted using a fully digitized system. Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) were also finalized through the Human Resource Management System (HRMS), ensuring transparency and efficiency.
