A supplementary electricity was provided by the state government on the occasion of the special session of the Jharkhand Provincial Assembly. Finance Minister Radhakrishnan Kishore presented a supplementary power of Rs 11,697.45 crore for the current financial year 2024-25. This is the second supplementary electricity of the financial year. In the presented budget, the largest amount has been allocated for women and children. 6390.00 crore has been earmarked for the ‘Chief Minister Mayan Yojana’ run by women. This scheme has started in the month of August under which 5.7 lakh women are being given an assistance amount of 1-1 thousand rupees every month. The government paid the amount for the month of December from Rs 1 thousand to Rs 250 crore.

Apart from ‘Mian Saman Yojana’ in the supplementary budget Rs 272 crore for School Education Department, Rs 170.15 crore for Road Conservancy Department, Rs 194.28 crore for Rural Development, Rs 45.92 crore for Prison and Disaster Park Department. Rs 2577.92 crores for energy and Rs 25.96 crores for animal economy went on target.

The Assembly session announced that this supplementary electricity was discussed on Friday. One representative from each party will be given an opportunity to debate.
