The Grammy Award-winning pop star performed a track from his latest album, “Cowboy Carter,” for the first time since its release in March. He sang with his daughter, Blue Ivy, and brought out guests, including country singers Post Malone and Shabooze.
It wasn’t the first time Beyonce performed in her hometown — she also sang the national anthem at Super Bowl XXXVIII in Houston. She went on to headline the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans and guested at the Super Bowl 50 show at Levi’s Stadium in 2016 when Coldplay headlined.
